20+ Years of Code. Zero Clutter. One Goal.
I’m Keith, the developer behind Janric. I’ve been building the web since 2003.
From Blue-Chip Systems to Southport High Streets
For the last decade, I’ve operated at the deep end of technical development. I’ve built complex SharePoint environments for NHS Trusts and engineered systems for blue-chip companies where security and reliability aren’t just "features"—they are life-and-death requirements.
I loved the complexity, but I missed the impact. Today, I’ve pivoted back to what I enjoy most: using that high-level "big tech" experience to help local businesses in Southport and across Merseyside grow.
The "Janric" Way: Why I Don't Use WordPress
The name Janric comes from a concatenation of my wife’s middle name and my own. It’s a personal brand, and I take the work personally. That’s why I avoid the "clunky" path.
"My mate said he can build me a site for £500."
I’ve heard it a thousand times. Usually, three months later, I get the follow-up call: "It’s slow, it’s broken, and I can’t get hold of him."
I don't compete with "mates with templates." I build high-performance, bespoke digital assets. Because I use static architecture instead of WordPress, your site has no database to hack and no plugins to break. It stays fast, stays secure, and stays online.
More Than Just a Coder
When I’m not at my desk, you’ll likely find me in a pair of trainers. I’m a fixture in the local Merseyside running scene and currently serve as the Event Director for our local Southport parkrun.
I apply that same sense of community and reliability to my work. When you hire Janric, you aren’t talking to a faceless agency; you’re talking to a Southport local who is invested in seeing our local economy thrive.
