I feel it looming – an August update to the Google Toolbar PageRank…

The signs are there – sites are getting more traffic, updates have been slower the last week and almost 4 months since the last update.

We had an update over the New Year period (sorry, missed exact day on holiday in the snow!) and then Easter weekend. And Sunday is the 1st August, so maybe, just maybe, there will be some good news with an update for August this weekend rather than last weekend.

I’ve noticed a lot of little page rank movements this last week, some seeming to revert to the positions of a few weeks back (which was good, the site in question dropped then!) and traffic to some of my blogs has grown exponentially the last few weeks. So, Sunday morning I’ll be switching on the computer and praying that my reward for lots of good unique writing and plenty of references of other websites is a little bit more of a green bar than today.

It’s always good to get that recognition! It actually means little, but there is a lot of pride when it goes up a bit. And it is these little incentives that matter!
