Does Anyone Else Sense A PageRank Update?
It’s been a long time since the last time Google bothered to export the PageRank data for the toolbar and I am hopeful that the next one is tonight!
With some of my sites, apart from the last 2 / 3 weeks when I have been too busy and too tired, I have put in a lot of link building effort and seen a lot of genuine natural links appearing. So, I am hopeful that maybe tomorrow morning this site will pop up as a PR3.
It would be great, but then there is also the worry that not being the site’s homepage is might also just randomly drop to grey bar for a few months!
An increased PageRank would be a good thing for me, so I am very hopeful that I will see one sooner or later across several sites. I make no secret that some of my posts are paid for (if you just follow via the RSS then you won’t actually notice them!) and have nothing against paid posting. After all, everyone does something somewhere to make some cash, so why not blogging as well!
I’ll be checking first thing tomorrow morning and hoping that Google has updated and been kind to me. You just never know!
